Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This page is available in English only. The English version is the authoritative text.
This Privacy Policy explains how Squadra (the “app”, “we”, “us”), operated by Reggio Digital, handles your information when you use our mobile app and website. Squadra is a social fantasy soccer game, so it does use an account and does process some personal data to let you play with friends. We aim to collect only what the game needs, to keep it safe for all ages, and to be clear about the rest.
Information you provide
- Account details. When you sign up we collect your email address and a display name. You may sign in with an email link or a supported sign-in provider (such as Apple or Google).
- Gameplay content. The squads you pick, the leagues you create or join, your captain and transfer choices, and your league standings.
- Social content. Anything you post inside a league, such as a league or team name, predictions, and chat messages. Please keep it friendly: Squadra is built for all ages.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data. Basic information such as device model, operating system, app version, and language, used to run the app and deliver content.
- Diagnostics. If the app crashes or hits an error, we collect a technical report (via Sentry) so we can fix it. These reports are used for reliability, not to identify you.
Advertising
Squadra may show ads to keep the game free. Any ads are family-safe and non-personalized: they are not based on tracking you across other apps or sites, and Squadra does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency to follow you elsewhere. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob and are limited to specific areas of the app, never the core game. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first through a standard consent prompt, and you can change your choice later in Settings.
Purchases
If we offer optional purchases or subscriptions, they are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed on our behalf through RevenueCat. We receive an anonymized identifier and your entitlement status so we can unlock what you paid for. We never receive your full payment card details. Those are handled directly by Apple or Google. See the privacy policies ofApple,Google, andRevenueCat for how they handle payment information.
How we use your information
- To run the game: build your squad, score your rounds, and rank your leagues.
- To let you play with others and sync your account across your devices.
- To keep Squadra safe, including reviewing reported content and enforcing our rules.
- To fix bugs, improve reliability, and support you when you contact us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Squadra, and only as needed: our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our error-diagnostics provider (Sentry), our ads provider (Google AdMob), our purchase provider (RevenueCat), and the app stores. We also use licensed soccer data providers for match and player information; you are not identified to them. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our players.
Keeping Squadra safe
Because Squadra is social and open to all ages, it includes safety tools: you can report or block other players, and we filter content and review reports. Accepting our Terms of Service is part of signing up. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break the rules.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your profile in the app. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your account and personal data; you can also delete your account from our website if you no longer have the app installed. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us using the details below and we will help.
Children’s privacy
Squadra is intended for players aged 13 and over, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will remove it.
Data retention and security
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and remove it when you delete your account, except where we must keep some records to meet legal or safety obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International transfers
Squadra is operated with the help of providers that may process data in other countries. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
